Why: Westborough records: 'Nathaniel, s. John and Susanah, May 16, 1751' (printed; text read by the engineer). That this baby is the Revolutionary soldier is strongly supported (age, Winchester, Capt. Hastings, a son named Benjamin Hastings Oak, the 1830 census) but rests on identification.
