Research notes
Her husband's will of 1896 left everything to her; what became of the Bigelow Hill farm and the rest of the estate after 1900 is not established, and no probate estate of her own has been found. 1912 and 1913 reports that call her husband 'Nathaniel Oak' are mistaken: his will and death notice name Samuel. The tree labels her mother 'Sarah (Coburn) Lander' with a death in 1890; Find a Grave gives 1899, and the 1886 will shows Sarah Allen living then.
