Research notes
Bolton records his children with Abigail from 1744 to 1757. The tree's title 'Rev.', Watertown birth (1702) and death at Watertown on 21 May 1756 conflict with a daughter, Grace, born to Benjamin and Abigail at Bolton on 12 Apr 1757, so those tree details likely belong to another Benjamin. The 1906 register calls him 'Capt. Benjamin', and a Capt. Benjamin Hastings led the Bolton company in 1775; whether that captain was Susanna's father or the Benjamin Hastings Jr. who married Experience Ball in 1782 is not settled.
