Limited evidence: this is a short profile, not a biography. Only a few facts about David's life are documented so far, and this page says no more than they support. Known: the family's memorial portrait gives his name as David Clarkson Oak and his dates as 11 November 1988 to 19 August 2021 (he was 32 if both are right); a 1988 Texas birth index lists an unnamed Oak baby boy born that day in Harris County, with a mother's name that matches the subject of a 2008 family notice; and a 2008 funeral notice for his mother, not his own obituary, names a 'David Oak, of Meredith', New Hampshire, very probably him (it gives no middle name or birth date). Not known: neither date has been checked against a named birth or death record; no record seen shows the city of his birth (the tree says Houston, citing a public-records index entry that was not retrieved) or the place of his death (the tree says Colorado Springs); the tree's Enfield, Chester and Breckenridge residence ranges rest on index entries that were not retrieved, and the Enfield range sits uneasily with the 2008 Meredith reference. No school, work, interests or words of his own, no named recollection of him, and no obituary of his own have been found.
