The tree merges two wives: this first wife, probably the Mary, 39, born South Carolina, of the 1850 household, and the second wife Helen M. No record of the maiden name 'Callahan' or the initial 'N.' was found; 'N. M.' in the 1860 census is probably 'H. M.' misread.
