Research notes
His birth is 28 Jul 1869 in his Social Security claim but about 1870-71 by the 1880 census; his brother Luther's stone gives 4 Jan 1869, so one source has drifted. His death is 1937 in the tree but 1939 on Find a Grave. Both unresolved. The W. L. Dixon who married Mary Catherine Young in 1892 is not yet confirmed as this William.
